Zoe’s Tale by John Scalzi

SF author John Scalzi told SCI FI Wire that his new novel, Zoe’s Tale, covers the many of the same events as his earlier novel The Last Colony but tells the story from a different point of view.

“There were a couple of dangling plot point left over from The Last Colony that I wanted to address, because I’d gotten lots of feedback on them from readers, which convinced me I didn’t do as good a job of explaining them as I would have liked; this way I get to explain more about them and make the over-story more complete,” Scalzi said in an interview. “Both I and my readers wanted to learn more about Zoe, and this seemed like a good way to do that.”
