Brisingr by Christopher Paolini – Interview

Cover
Brisingr (Inheritance, Book 3) by Christopher Paolini
It’s a little disappointing to find that Christopher Paolini isn’t dressed up as a medieval bard when I meet him, but such are the rewards of being a literary sensation. The red doublet, billowy black trousers and jaunty hat he wore to get noticed when he toured 135 US bookshops and libraries to promote his first – self-published – fantasy book are no longer necessary.
“It would take an awful lot to get me back in that outfit,” he says. “Now that the book has reached a wider audience, I don’t have to do that any more. Thankfully.”
Is Christopher Paolini’s Brisingr the new Harry Potter? – Telegraph.

Your Fantasy Novel Characters

To create characters for your fantasy novel you must consider your market and create characters that your readers are able to relate to, and care for. But your characters should be developed before you put your pen to paper.
Mirrorscape by Mike Wilks – Review

Mirrorscape by Milk Wilks Mirrorscape is probably one of the most creative, imaginative YA fantasy books that I have read in a while, but that’s not to say it’s without it’s problems. The biggest draw of Mirrorscape is the imagination and creative environment that has been developed. There was so much imagination involved in developing
